Cleveron is at the forefront of innovation with more than 10 years of
experience in being the leader of its field.

2006

ON24, a leading online furniture store in Estonia and Finland (www.on24.ee, www.on24.fi) created its logistics department to deliver ordered goods to customers by courier.

2007

The ON24 logistics department started to develop hardware and software for automated parcel machine networks. The department grew to a logistics company. The name Cleveron was registered, but in the beginning, the company used the name SmartPOST. SmartPOST started to develop a last mile parcel locker network.

2009

SmartPOST started providing automated parcel locker services. Soon the lockers became popular pickup points for the end-customers, and in a few years, SmartPOST gained a 20% market share in Estonia.

2010

After operating for two years, the network along with its brand name was sold to Itella Corporation (former Finnish Post). By the time the brand was sold. After the transaction, the company started to use the name Cleveron and focused on the development of software and hardware for automated click and collect parcel solutions.

2011

Cleveron introduced the concept of Cleveron 401 (The PackRobot) – a new generation of automated parcel terminal with the highest volume of stored parcels per square meter.

2014

Cleveron launched the new Cleveron 302 (The CleverBox) – an automated parcel locker with unique drawer slots for small parcels and letters.
Cleveron opened the new assembly plant in Viljandi, Estonia, to meet the increasing demand for Cleveron’s products.
By the end of 2014, in addition to Estonia, Cleveron also had clients in Spain, Norway and Brazil.

2015

Cleveron partnered with a U.S. company Bell and Howell to introduce automated parcel terminal delivery to North America.
Cleveron launched the next generation parcel delivery solution Cleveron 401, which dramatically advances the delivery and pick-up capabilities of parcel networks.
In 2015, Cleveron's product were also set up in Hungary and Finland.

2016

Cleveron’s service brand CollectNet launched the open network of parcel pickup points pilot in Estonia. The network uses the Cleveron 401 parcel pickup solution.
Walmart launched a pilot to test 5 Cleveron 401 pack robots as their buy online pick up in store solution in the USA.
The pack robot Cleveron 401 was named the “Delivery Innovation of the Year” by Postal Technology.
By the end of 2016, Cleveron's parcel automates could also be found in Bulgaria, Germany and in the USA.

2017

The founders of Cleveron and ON24, Arno Kütt and Peep Kuld, were named as the EY Estonian Entrepreneurs of the Year by EY Estonia, a member of Ernst & Young Global. The competition values innovation, entrepreneurship, social responsibility and leadership in business.     
Cleveron developed a new world's largest, extendable robotics based parcel terminal called Cleveron 402 (The CleverFlex).
Cleveron reached 100 employees.
The world’s fastest public drone delivery service was opened in Cleveron’s home town Viljandi. For two weeks, Cleveron offered the opportunity to order a drink via text message and have it delivered by drone.
The first Cleveron 402 was installed in Inditex's Zara store in A Coruña, Spain.
Bloomsburg University in the USA selected Cleveron 302 as their automated parcel locker for the campus mailroom to make parcel handling and pickup more efficient and faster.
The pack robot Cleveron 401 won the Bronze at the world-famous Edison Awards.
Cleveron installed the world’s first cloud-based smart mailbox to Laeva apartment building in Tallinn, Estonia. The mailbox is based on the smart parcel locker solution Cleveron 301 (The SnapLocker).
Walmart announced the plan to expand their network of pack robots Cleveron 401 aka Pickup Towers across the US. By the end of 2018, Walmart has 700 Cleveron 401's in their stores.
By the end of 2017,  the world's biggest retailer Walmart and the world's biggest fashion retailer Inditex were amongst Cleveron's clients.

2018

The first Cleveron 401 in the United Kingdom was installed for the pilot with UK retailer Asda. The Cleveron 401, aka the Parcel Tower, enables both automated self-service pickup and return in Asda’s Trafford Park store in Manchester.

Cleveron installed two world’s largest click and collect parcel robots Cleveron 402 in Zara’s revolutionary Stratford flagship store. The London-based store has a separate department for online orders and Cleveron 402 handles the parcel pickup. Together, the two robots can handle 2400 parcels.
Cleveron piloted the Cleveron 201, a personal parcel locker in selected areas in Estonia, to test the working prototype. Cleveron 201 is Cleveron's first parcel automate that is specially created for private use. The aim is to offer ultimate convenience and to save time – the parcel locker's owner will never have to wait for the parcel to arrive with the courier. Instead, the parcel already awaits for them as they arrive home. Cleveron 201 stores regular mail, parcels and food. It operates on Cleveron's CollectNet software.

Cleveron won the title Company of the Year 2018 in the Estonian Entrepreneurship Awards 2018. We were also the Design Applier of the Year, the Innovator of the Year and one of the top three companies in the Exporter of the Year category.

Cleveron opened the new development centre addition which added 7500 m2 to the existing 3000 m2 assembly plant, tripling the manufacturing capabilities.
